As a family we are really happy with St Botolphs. There is so much clarity and communication about all the important aspects of teaching methods, changes and general information.
We provide a breakfast club and numerous after school activities. In addition, we work closely with all our feeder nursery settings who also provide before and after school care.
Parents have the right to request further childcare at the school. If you wish us to consider a request, please do so in writing (by letter or email or via school-run parent surveys) and date the request, so that the school can log requests and keep a record. In order to make a decision, we would require the following information:
• the type of childcare requested
• age range of the children requiring wraparound or holiday childcare
• when provision is most needed
The school sets a threshold for considering requests. Once the threshold has been reached, the school’s Governing Board will consider the request(s) and make a decision. We will need to establish whether there is wider demand for the provision and if it will be viable. Parents / providers will be informed of the decision.
For further information and support, please see DfE guidance:
There are a number of registered childcare providers registered with the Local Authority who provide before and after school care for children attending our school. This information can be found on the Local Authority Listing.
