“

After being in this school for only one year, I am so pleased with the progress that both of my children are making. Class teachers are fantastic and always approachable no matter how busy they are, and I must say Mrs Pepper is FANTASTIC! I love attending the assemblies and school activities because of how enthusiastic she and all the teachers are! Keep up the good work.

“

I would highly recommend this school to anybody. Even though my daughter is one of the youngest in the year, she has excelled in all areas….Great teachers and great school.

“

St Botolph’s is a wonderful school. All of the teachers and TA’s that my children have had have been highly supportive and professional. From the moment my children enter school campus they are greeted with a smile.

School Performance

School Performance means a lot more to St Botolph's than how children achieve in standardised tests. While these are clearly important, progress is key, and our children make great strides from their individual starting points, both academically and personally.

  • The 2024- 25 KS2 statistics cover the attainment of year 6 pupils who took assessments in summer 2025. These pupils experienced disruption to their learning during the pandemic, particularly as they started in Key Stage 2. We are very pleased with the results, these are some of the best results for our Year 6 cohorts, especially considering the disruption to their learning.
  • Considering the high perecentage of SEND pupils in our FS - Y2 year groups, we are also very pleased with the 2024-25 end of Year 2 results, our Y1 phonics and the increasing perecntage at the end of EYFS achieving GLD (Good Level of Development)
  • Areas where we are not achieving at least in line with the national picture, these are priority areas for action on our School Improvement Plan.
